Bank performs many of the functions like providing loans, receiving deposits of money, saving money, investing them at the right place. It also provides agency services to the people. Like it collects the dividends declared by the company, collects bills and promissory notes and checks. It also pays the electricity bills, the telephone bills , the mobile bills and even insurance premium but only on the advice of the account holder.

It regulates the working of the banks. It is in short the leader of the banks. It performs very important functions like controlling the credit money of the company. It issues the currency notes and coins in the country. It acts as the banker to the government. It is the banker's bank. Banks invest money in the central bank if excess or else they utilize the rest in providing loans. The central bank is the lender of the last resort.

The banks also provide the loan facilities to the people who are in need of money.

This money is called as loan money. The bank is the lender in this case and the person, individual or the institution which takes the loan money is the borrower. He is also known as creditor. The bank takes charge of the assets in the security of the loan money given. If the loan is taken to build a house and the party is incapable to pay the amount the hud foreclosure process takes place. HUD foreclosure is the process in which the institution which provides loan for the house has the right to take action if the committed loan is amount is not paid on time.

The HUD foreclosure is in short the procedure taken in return of the unpaid loan. This is the most severe action done by the bank. HUD foreclosure requires a long process and paper work. The HUD foreclosure allows the bank or the institution complete possession on the house taken with the loan amount. It is a process which needs presentation of documents in front of the court and also requires a good faith.
